Almost got hit by a car entering the roadway and moving into my lane. The driver wasn't signaling or looking. I was on the shoulder and honked then the other car lurched away and lost a wheel before coming to a stop on the opposite shoulder. My passenger and I drove off, there was too much traffic to pull over and we didn't make contact. Later I was pulled over by two troopers who said a motorist called in a hit and run. After we explained the incident they let us go on our way.
