My cat Alice plays with her food. She drops the dry crunchy things in her water bowl and then tries to fish them out and eat them. Sometimes she washes her paws in the water bowl and licks them clean. I've often wondered if she was raised by racoons. Lately some animal has been eating all her food when I'm away and making a mess of the water bowl as well and I blamed the big dog across the street. But tonight I caught the culprit, complete with mask, in the act. I talked to him and took pictures while he washed his bits and chomped them up. Alice was just out of sight observing the scene which I am now convinced she has seen many times before.
